About Shobhit Deemed University, Meerut
Shobhit Institute of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, was granted Deemed-to-be University status by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, through Notification No. F-9-37/2004-U.3(A) on November 8, 2006, under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
The University is committed to strategic growth, aligning its mission and vision to deliver quality education through vertical and horizontal integration. It aspires to become a world-class institution with a global outlook dedicated to educating future leaders.
Accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an āAā Grade in its second cycle, the University is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities. In July 2022, it was recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 aims to increase Indiaās Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) in higher education from 27% to 50% by 2030. This goal emphasizes using technology and promoting online and distance learning to provide equitable access to quality education, particularly for students from rural and agricultural communities.

Admission Process
- Registration:Ā Visit theĀ Shobhit Online Admission PortalĀ to register with your basic details and course preferences.
- Application & Document Submission:Ā Fill out the complete application form and upload scanned copies of required documents (e.g., Class 10th and 12th certificates, last qualifying degree, Aadhaar card, and signature).
- Verification & Fee Payment:Ā The university verifies your submitted educational transcripts. Once approved, you will be required to pay the tuition fee to confirm your enrollment.
- LMS Activation:Ā After the successful fee payment, you will receive your Learning Management System (LMS) login credentials via email to begin your coursework.
